What We Offer

Doulas are an important part of the health and birth community. They provide trained labor support for birthing women and their families. Doulas are instrumental in helping expectant mothers advocate for their own birth experience. Many doulas are professionally trained and work solely with expectant mothers who plan natural childbirth and others work with expectant mothers who already have decided for interventions as part of her birth plan. No matter what the mother’s birth plan entails, doulas often provide a true sense of empowerment for expectant mothers and their families to understand the birth process; and provide a clear, evidence-based approach to the birth experience.
